The best online collaborative tools are becoming more and more part of our every-day world as people find ways to become even more productive, either at work or for their personal projects.
This is not meant to be a comprehensive list of online tools, but rather some suggestions from fellow facilitators, trainers and students. I primarily use these tools in my Design Thinking workshops, so they are organised for now in the four stages of the Double Diamond Design Model.

IdeaFlip – online sticky notes
Lucidchart – good for customer journeys
SessionLab – good tool to design workshops
Stormboard – good digital online whiteboard
Tools for the Deliver phase
Boords – storyboarding software for videos
HotJar – visual tool to collate feedback for prototyping
InVision – online whiteboard, excellent for prototyping
Marvel – prototyping tool loved by many
Sketch – good overall tool, but with excellent prototyping offerings
